"The staff was very professional and well-trained. The property is beautiful. The dorms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The A/C stays on 24/7."

"The location was my reason for leaving. There isn't anything nearby. The nearest modern convenience store is about 1km, and it has nothing in stock. There were all types of flying and biting insects as well. I didn't enjoy sitting outside because I was constantly being attacked. There would be a lot of dead flies in the sinks in the morning, so they may need to hire a professional to get rid of the bug problem because there is no inside common area. The fines were crazy. I am not sure if it is legal for a business to fine someone for breaking a rule or a policy. It's so ludicrous. Businesses can trespass, but they cannot fine peoplecwhere I am from. I will research this. The rooms were cold, so they may need to offer blankets to guests. I am anemic, so I get cold quickly. During the night, people would go back and forth, turning the air up and down. Some wanted it at 18 others 24. Giving blankets may help lower the power bill. The thin sheets didn't help at all when they set it to 18."

"Back at Activate C3 Hostel for the second time. Comfy beds and the pool are perfect for relaxing."

"The only downside is the toilets, which are often really dirty in the mornings. Some guests don’t seem to care about cleaning up after themselves, which can be a bit frustrating."

"The hostel has a really good vibe. The pool and restaurant area were great. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were mostly clean and always had hot water."

"Things I didn't like were , for example, in the room not every bed had a locker. If you were lucky to get a lower bed then you would get a locker. You were not allowed to bring your drink or snacks from outside to the chill out area. The location is quite far from the central area."

"I had a private room on the third floor and it was very clean and very nice. The pool area was great and the staff were all lovely."

"Great co-working, low key digital nomad vibe here. Plenty of places to sit and work. The pool is great! Food is available at property but also it is in a true Khmer village. Really see the culture this way. 5 min walk to river & food & walking. Quiet and comfortable with a mixed collection of cool travelers."

"Sadly this place didn't feel cozy or hospitable. The hostel is run more like a business, lacking a 'home-away-from-home' feel. The first email reply to a request for a lower bunk was rebuffed. No mention we will do everything possible to accommodate your request or mention that stairs rather than a ladder gives access to the top bunk. Rules with warning signs posted all over the facility under threat of a $100 fine for violation is over the top. Towel rentals (Cambodia is unique) come with an unheard of per day use fee off your deposit. 1.25 kilo of laundry get rounded up to 2 kilos. The staff does a great job trying to deal with mandated policies that place them in the line of fire from unhappy guests."
