"A good location in Phnom Penh is all about where your activities take place. Traffic is normally horrendous in the entire city, so find a hotel close to where you want to visit. The Sunway is a quiet sanctuary within easy walking distance of the river tourist area. The river tourist area is also quite congested so at the end of the day the quiet of the Sunway is appreciated. My first stay at the Sunway was 18 years ago. While it shows a little of its age on the edges, it is really in good condition with an extremely helpful staff throughout the hotel and restaurant. Excellent value for the discount pricing which is normally available."
