"Nice hostel, great to chill by the pool and know some new people. The restaurant of the hostel is a bit pricey but worth it! The room was nice expect it's quite noisy at night and gets really bright in the morning. Good location Awesome value for price!"

"The 4-bed room was spacious, clean and had two showers. The staff was helpful and easy going. Overall, very comfortable stay. It was less busy than other hostels with more laid back atmosphere."

"It felt a bit desolate in the evenings and the drinks were rather pricey. The parking space for scooters could be moved so that there is at least some access to enter the building."

"Monkey Republic was the first place I ever stayed when I first visited Kampot back in 2017 and even though there are lots of amazing places to stay in town, I always end up back here. It offers freat value for money, excellent food, great service, and its in a very convenient location in the centre of town, and from which everything is walking distance. Better still, if you want to ride a motorbike, you can rent one from directly across the road and they have lots of parking space. Their food and drinks are delicious so even if I don't stay here, I will pop in for something to eat and drink. The staff is very helpful and make you feel welcome. I've probably stayed in most of the dorms and they're all comfortable, regularly cleaned, and spacious."
