"Very much an old-school backpacker place. Don’t expect much in terms of facilities, just appreciate a clean space in a great location, with friendly helpful staff. I loved hanging out at the attached bar & being able to meet so many expats, all with amazing stories to tell."

"I stayed in the Local riverside during Khmer new year and it was great. It’s close to everything and still calm if you just want to chill. The beds in the dormitory are big but you can also have a private room if you prefer. The must is Yat the owner and the others staff members like Nana who are very nice and welcome you as a friend. Also the food is very good. I definitely recommend to stay there."

"It's very cheap and what you'd expect from the price. No bad surprise. If you're fine with something very basic, it's a good place."
"Perfect if you want real privacy. They say the mattress is hard, but I like it. You have to keep in mind that it depends on each person; they have their own tastes and needs. The owner is friendly and direct. Do you want the place to be central? But the owners are fake."
