He was very helpful all the time, Breakfast was amazing, I can definitely recommend the Eggs Benedict! The location is great and only a short walk to the river! "Fabulous location, walk-able to many restaurants and to the river. I had some great conversations with the owner and other guests; it's a good place to socialize if you want to. As a solo traveler this was a big bonus for me. The restaurant is wonderful ... lots of choices and everything was delicious. Happy hour 5-7 daily! :-) Room was basic, clean and provisioned with water, electric kettle etc. WiFi was fast and totally reliable! This is rare in my experience of Cambodia. TV has lots of channels with movies, sports, etc. All-in-all it's a wonderful place to stay and explore the area. William is a great host. Five stars!"

We really enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely detailed, with excellent WiFi. Quiet but close and convenient location. "it's a shame William could not arrange all of the tours or tickets for buses and transportation (although he has a great tuk tuk driver for a brilliant tour in the countryside). also, the selection of movies William shows every afternoon is really debatable (for reference, when we were there, the Meg 2 was on...)...only joking anyway!!"

"Lovely large room with comfortable beds and pillows. We were on the ground floor but there wasn’t a problem with noise at all. Room felt the most homely we’ve had in our travels. Nice lamps, pictures and even plants. Large tv with lots of channels. Great location. Would definitely recommend The Magic Sponge."
