"The host was kind enough to call a restaurant for us to get delivery since we didn't have a Korean phone number and the language barrier would've been too difficult. The host also provided complimentary beverages in the fridge and there were clear instructions inside for how to work all of the electronics. The only confusing thing was the garbage bag situation."

"It’s in a beautiful remote location. Quiet and peaceful. I believe it’s part of trail that goes along the coast line. In a cool weather, this will be something pleasant and easy to do as the trails are mostly flat. The owner was clear about check in and check out process. And answered my questions promptly. There was a booklet of where to eat, etc which was helpful. I lost wallet on the last day at Aqua planet and he did the best to try to help me find it which I really appreciate it."

"But the car is a must imo. I went with 2 kids without renting a car and it was a bit of hassle to get around even to go for a meal or convenient store (there’s one in about 750m, I believe). It just that it was too hot to enjoy the scenery even early in the morning or late in the evening. I might’ve picked the wrong season perhaps it was unusually hot that week. And I was looking forward to swimming in a natural pool to cool down. However, it was closed due to the rough waves for the entire time we stayed. It was disappointing but weather is so unpredictable, nothing anyone can do. I would still consider going back maybe in spring. And with a car."

"Amazingly sweet hosts! The property is located a little far from attractions, but with a rental car, this didn't matter at all. We loved the amazing sea views and easy access to the rocky beach. So peaceful and refreshing."

"Host contacted me through Whatsapp to send me a personalized code to enter the property. It was fantastic, and easy to remember. She asked if we needed anything and when we talked about swimming offered us advice and access to life jackets. There was a local gift waiting for us and a personalized message on arrival. I seriously wish every place we stayed was as kind and available as OROJEJU."

"The location was very nice having wonderful views of the water. The host was fantastic and incredibly nice. It was very unexpected to receive a welcome drink and a case of local tangerines as a goodbye gift. She even helped us and allowed us to use her own personal phone to extend our car rental."

"The location was kind of isolated, but that's on us gor not noticing before getting the room. I would say if you have a car it's the perfect place for you."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Orojeju. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, and has a great view of the coast. The Jeju Olle trail runs right in front of the property, and we spent our days hiking the trail. Communication with management was excellent - they are very attentive and respond quickly to messages. I recommend Orojeju without hesitation and I hope to return sometime in the future to this wonderful spot."
