"Mr. Chong, the owner, is very lovely. He picked us up at Jinbu station the day we arrived. The snow wasn't thick the day we came, but the place is still so beautiful. Mr. Chong even took us to the supermarket to buy some food. The room is cozy and warm. Very recommended."

"The guest house is located in the middle of nature. One is exposed to a beautiful and tranquil landscape which is so calming. The host couple was super friendly. They were such warm-hearted people, offering us a nice homemade meal too. We did utterly enjoy our short stay in the guest house. A great place to stay both for a family with kids and a solo trip."

"We wanted to spend some time in a quiet peaceful town. This place was a good location for us as we explored the Gangwon region. It had space for a little kid to roam around and a quiet space for a big kid to do their thing. We really wanted to experience being in a quiet area away from the busy city life and this ticks a lot of boxes for us"
"We got there late at night after driving for hours with kids. We wish we knew beforehand to bring food and groceries because most places were shut. That was our lack of research. Thankfully, we rented a car from Seoul and found a small convenience store nearby. It would be helpful to have a list of nearby restaurants, food stores, and establishments to take out the guesswork. At the end of the day, it became a part of our adventure and we'd be happy to stay there again"
"we had a wonderful stay in Sicily Pension 🫶🏻🫶🏻 the owner is very kindd entertain to our needs and help to call up a taxi for us, and even gave us orange when we checkout. he is very excited to teach us to play the snow sledding which a lifetime experience for us, we love it!! Sicily Pension is sooo beautiful to every inch of their landscape, feels like brings your kdrama dream alivee. Heater works well, they have bidet, the home is sooo cozy. definitely a very recommended stay if you are having a trip to pyeongchang 🫶🏻🫶🏻"

"The property is about a 20-minute drive from the train station, but the setting more than makes up for it—especially in winter, when everything is beautifully blanketed in snow. The host is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay; he even drove us to the nearest market to pick up takeaways. The home itself is well maintained and wonderfully cozy, staying warm and comfortable even during peak winter when temperatures drop sharply. Our kids absolutely loved the experience, and we’re already looking forward to visiting again."

"Sisilli Pension is easy to reach by car from Seoul to Pyeongchang, and I highly recommend driving since it’s located in a quiet, deeper area. Once you arrive, the view is absolutely breathtaking. It’s far from tall buildings and surrounded by nature, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Pyeongchang Ski Resort is reachable within about half an hour, which is very convenient, yet the town itself is not busy or crowded. I visited during winter, and the outdoor area around the house was covered in snow, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy nature."
"Towels are not provided, so you need to bring your own. Halal food is also difficult to find in the area, except one at Pyeongchang Ski Resort."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. It was well-stocked, which was awesome because I had misplaced my toothbrush, but the room had a toiletries bag that included a new one! The bed was comfortable, and the mini-fridge and kettle were great. The breakfast in the mornings was tasty and filling. The staff at the front desk were super kind and helpful."

"The room had large windows overlooking the ocean and a pine-wood bathtub in the room. I had the opportunity to experience a Japanese-inspired hot tub and tea table. Their breakfast was a diverse selection, including Korean, American, and other dishes that could be customized to suit my preferences from the tables."
"Hotel conceirge was very helpful in giving directions for my trips in the town. Amenities in the room were very good with a good supply of toileteries to water, chocolate snack, Ramyeon and coffee, tea readily available. I didnt lack for anything including a face mask."
