"Nice little spot to spend a couple nights in Thakhek. Mr Noy was super responsive and drove us to Green Climbers home on our last morning in town. Beds are comfortable and much larger than a standard twin size. Bathrooms were clean, no complaints."

"The owner of this hostel, Mr Noy is extremely kind and helpful! We stopped in Thakhek on the way ti Vientiane and he helped us book our bus tickets (the bus was great). The pool is nice, and the facilities are basic! The showers are warm and there is a good number of bathrooms for all the guests! We stayed in the private room with no bathroom and it was good for 2 nights. The beds were comfy. The location is also excellent, right by the river and less than a minutes walk to the night market!"

"Mr Noy is a wonderful host. He’s attentive and helpful. His guesthouse has a very homey atmosphere. His family is sweet. The pool was excellent. There was a night market close by as well as the street by the river. Lots of places to eat and good coffee shops. Mr Noy also makes good coffee."

"Note: This is my second (glowing) review for Mabuhay Guest House. As I was waiting for my visa process to complete at the nearby embassy, I kept extending my stay with Ms. Sara. The price, location, and overall value are what initially caught my attention. But what makes staying at Mabuhay really great is the host! Ms. Sara is one of the nicest/most genuine people I've ever met. During my stay, she was able to help me solve numerous travel-related issues. She definitely didn't need to help me, but that's just the type of person she is... And while I'm not particularly social when I travel, it wasn't long before I was hanging out downstairs with Ms Sara and the other guests, with a cold beverage, talking about a wide range of topics. I really hope the best for Ms Sara's business and family. And I genuinely appreciate the hospitality."
