"Room were very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. bathroom hot water and good water pressure. Room had a fridge , hairyer, Sofa... The breakfast was rich and really delicious. The view of the mountains and rice fields was great. The location is a bit 15 minutes via a flat road to the center , but very quiet and again closer to some Viewpoints. A really delicious restaurant is right next door (Valhalla). Can book train tickets, bus ticket, laundry service at guesthouse ."

"DD Guesthouse best spot for Vang Vieng if you don't want stay at party town , the area away from the crowds and closer to nature, this is a perfect place close enough to town, it is quiet and has an amazing view! I could watch the sunset with the mountains from my bed Deluxe Mountain view . They had great service book for us tuktuk to blue lagoon and bus ticket to Vientiane . Room cleanness, and food was great, and the owner was very kind and helpful. Will stay here again for next trip at Laos."

"Staff were so kind and cooked breakfast fresh to order every morning. The location is a bit outside of the main town area but surrounded by the mountains and the sunrise and sunset views from the hotel are incredible!!! Town is about a 20 minute walk."

"Note: This is my second (glowing) review for Mabuhay Guest House. As I was waiting for my visa process to complete at the nearby embassy, I kept extending my stay with Ms. Sara. The price, location, and overall value are what initially caught my attention. But what makes staying at Mabuhay really great is the host! Ms. Sara is one of the nicest/most genuine people I've ever met. During my stay, she was able to help me solve numerous travel-related issues. She definitely didn't need to help me, but that's just the type of person she is... And while I'm not particularly social when I travel, it wasn't long before I was hanging out downstairs with Ms Sara and the other guests, with a cold beverage, talking about a wide range of topics. I really hope the best for Ms Sara's business and family. And I genuinely appreciate the hospitality."
