Samlee's Garden

"Great stay in a homestay. Room was spacious with air con in both bedrooms. Room was very clean and had all amenities you would need except for a refrigerator. Location is great. Plenty of restuarants right down the street as well as some small mini marts. We used this as a base before we went to Don Det. You can set up motorbike rental to go to the waterfalls and giant Buddha. We didn't on property but the food looked and smelled great. Hosts were very kind and made sure we were well taken care of."

"Unique and comfortable space, sweet and helpful owners. Nice air conditioning and a great view from the balcony. The downstairs cafe was a very homey and happy space to hang out in the evenings. Location by the river is great for walking/running and people watching at night."

"Right on the mekong. Two cats in the lobby are just very relaxed. Great beds with thick bedding and a great airco. Marvelous combination :-). I cannot think about anything bad. Really recommendable!"

"Beautiful property inside and out with a great atmosphere and stunning view of the Mekong river from the balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable. The owners are warm and inviting and helpful with travel tips and booking day trips in the area. A highlight of our stay was the food. Everything we had was delicious and beautifully presented. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Jeremie and Samlee!"

"The hotel is a really nice and cosy place. You'll find everything you need to have a nice stay in Paksé. Good beds, good food, helpful owner and three pets (one dog and two cats, all adorable!). Thank you!"

"The hotel faces the water front but you have no access to the water. You cannot see either the sunset or the sunrise from the balcony (we were there in March). You can see the great golden Buddha though. Otherwise, very good place to relax and start your visits!"

"Excellent location, great for sunset walks along the river. Jeremie organised our transport to the 4000 islands and also advised us about the best place to get a SIM card locally."

"Jeremie was very helpful and organised a bus to Thakhek and pick-up from Samlee's Garden and a scooter rental that was delivered to the Guesthouse. He also advised us where to go for a minor medical issue. The cats and dog were friendly and playful."

"Could not have asked for more! Everything perfect. Nice and clean room. Small balcony with view on the Mekong. Owner is super helfpul and will arrange scooter rental or rides to the next destination. Restaurant with good western and lao dishes. WOULD RECOMMEND! :)"
