"The location is fabulous, the food is excellent, there are tons of things to do, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. We had a flat tire on our motorbike the day we were leaving and the manager was kind of enough to ride the bike to a nearby mechanic shop to have it fixed! We were so impressed with everything and everyone at the Spring River Resort. Many thanks!!!"

"A beautiful lodge overlooking a clear river with good restaurant. We stayed 2 nights but wish we had stayed longer. The lodge can arrange many different tours. We kayaked on the river. Of course the Kong Lor cave and Ziplining at the Viewpoint are the highlights. We stayed in one of the expensive river view rooms. The other rooms looked pretty basic, which is why some reviewers may have had a different experience."

"Absolutely loved this place A gem amongst the most scenic area in Lao The staff were great even called me by my first name. Delicious curry dish and delicious french toast for breakfast Loved the lounge area and chilling out drinking a beer before dinner The decor and nature around just loved it The fire at night"

"Only thing was there were some bees in the shower so I was afraid so i changed shower rooms than it was ok. Hot water didn't last for hours but it was hot Coffee was ok but could be improved"

"This place is amazing. The resort is so beautiful, the rooms are great and the bathrooms are so clean. The staff is probably the best thing. They take care of every little thing. You are close to the cave, you can rent kayaks and swim in the lagoon, eat delicious food or just enjoy the nature around it."

"I stayed in a riverview bungalow. It was great. Nice room, with all the comforts, good selection in the minibar, although I drink and eat to much this way. A very good breakfast, with fruit salad, good cappuccino and homemade bread. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although I had a scooter and could have gone on my own, the river trip to the cave added to the experience. The whole place is very spacious and makes you feel you are staying at the edge of a jungle."

"I thought this was the perfect place to stay while my friend and I visited Kong Lor Cave, and many other guests did too. I overheard several say they didn't want to leave. The view was beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. A special thanks to the staff people who processed my payment and patiently waited while I checked my account on booking.com."

"Overall wonderful place! Gorgeous location by the river, surrounded by lush vegetation and flowers. We stayed in one of the bungalows with garden-view, fan (as opposed to a/c) and shared bathroom. The room was a bit small, but rustic chic and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were extremely clean. We loved the breakfast and dinner that we had at the restaurant. There is an option to book a water taxi from the resort to the Konglor cave - the 40 minute boat ride up the river was in itself a wonderful experience. Finally, the staff was lovely, super helpful and respectful. Would 100% stay here again!"

"There wasn't a lot of space in the bungalow to put our bags down, but this type of bungalow with shared bathrooms are likely to appeal to backpackers like us, who probably don't need a ton of space anyway!"
