"Villas had a private birthday party scheduled at the pool that evening. While very friendly (they asked us to join in), it did make us leave pool area and party went on with loud music for many hours. Not in their control but a charity walk came by at 6am the next morning with a loud “party car” leading the way. Also cannot remember another time with booking.com that I was charged an extra 3.5% fee for using visa."

"I loved being in the rainforest part of the island. The pool was good but we would’ve used it more if it was warmer. The rooms were good"

"There wasn’t always warm showers but it was ok. I wish we were told there was a bread truck every morning at 5:30am. Again, it was a big deal."

"Liked the peaceful, hilly setting with tropical trees, plants, and birds. Very nice swimming pool with good loungers, chairs and tables. Lights poolside were turned on at night. Also nice outside seating on patio in front of each villa. Well equipped kitchen with counter seating. Everything was clean. Provided beach towels. Host was welcoming and communicated well. Liked ceiling fans in bedroom and LR. Bedroom AC worked fine. We liked being able to arrive by minibus from Soufriere and experience a rollicking ride with locals."

"Useful bedroom closet with hangers for hanging up clothes but some shelves or drawers would have been nice. Not too bothered by unexpected ongoing construction of another villa near ours on the property. Fond Saint Jacques doesn't have a grocery store so folks should be sure to buy provisions in Soufriere."
