"This is my second visit to the Broad View, I come here during my work as a guide. The host is friendly and the fried rice ordered for dinner tastes great. I absolutely love their friendliness and willingness to help out."

"The room was clean and the washroom was very clean too. Hot water worked perfectly (exactly what I needed after a long day). They prepare chicken fried rice for me as the dinner and it was wonderful. I was starving the whole day and the portion was big enough for two people. The breakfast was very good too complete with Kiribath (milk rice) and eggs. They provided coffee too instead of usual tea."

"I saw it’s 1,8 km from Ella center, but did not realise that the road to it was all the way up, quite steep. I like walking , so I still did walk :)"
"We stayed at Broad View for five nights and were very happy with our stay! The owners (the family) were incredibly kind and helpful. They assisted us in renting a scooter and even offered a convenient laundry service at the property. We had great breakfast every morning and a tasty local dinner two nights :-) Our room was clean, with hot water and a fan, which made our stay comfortable. To reach the property, you need to walk up some stairs—it took us about two minutes and wasn’t a problem at all. Overall good value for money!! :-)"

"My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The location is great, right next to Yala National Park. The huts are hand-built, made of clay, living in them is a unique experience. The host is very kind and friendly, helps in any way he can, we are very grateful to him for that and are glad that we met! 😊 The host also prepared some delicious traditional food for us. He will also help with organizing a safari, and can take you around the area himself and tell you interesting stories!"

My rooms that had over 15 foot ceilings, everything made of stone, fans and air conditioning, the nature surrounding us, the Pool and the hotel grounds, the warm and amazing staff! My stay was short and I regret not staying longer. Just AMAZING and also the owner was there to answer all my questions and last minute demands. Don’t forget to tip the staff because they go over and beyond for you."

"What an unforgettable stay! The location of this camp is beautiful and perfectly located for the safari tour. You have direct access to the dune area during sun set hours. Just be aware that you will have to walk quite a bit through deep sand and there are a lot of nature sounds during the night."
