"No traffic noise as it is in the jungle. It’s about a 10 min walk to Ella. The road to the property is tiny the best is to take a tuk tuk from the main road."

"Perfect location, far enough from the main town area to enjoy a very peaceful environment but just a short Tuk-Tuk journey to bars and restaurants. The property has its own Tuk-Tuk and will provide transport anywhere for a small charge. Different View was the number one homestay of our trip. Lovely family who were always available but not intrusive. Best, freshly cooked, breakfast, (thankyou to the grandmother of the family). Lovely room, amazing view, very relaxing. Highly recommend. 😍"

"Room was a bit basic. No kettle or small fridge. The tuktuk driver that accomodation arranged for us took us on a trip, but hit a dog while driving :( maybe he could stop and just check the dog if he was ok…"

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals.
