"I had a good stay at Highest View. The staff are nice. The breakfast was amazing (tasty food with an amazing view from the terrace). The location is close to the lake, but it’s up the hill, so be prepared for some climbing (or you can easily take a tuktuk)."

"Comfortable rooms and bed an 8 minute walk from the lake. My room and the restaurant had a view of the Temple of the Tooth structures across the lake. Lovely breakfast and very pleasant staff. A few food options scattered nearby. 15 minute walk to the busy town zone."

"I did not find anything that I would say that I did not like. Maybe if they could include a few more amenities for the guests, such as a small bar fridge for cooling the water bottles. A linen cupboard or some shelves would be nice too."

"The hotel was lovely, with a beautiful view of Kandy Lake and the Temple of the relic Tooth. Our room was spacious and conveniently located on the same floor as the breakfast area. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was generous and delicious , an excellent start the day."
