"The owner couple were very nice! And they live just downstairs. There is a big balcony shared with other rooms. Location is close to bus stop. Easy to go around with bus."

"What a peaceful location! One of the best stays of my whole Sri Lanka trip. It is hosted by a local family. They have very cute 2 dogs. Very friendly. Nearby to railway station, bus station and just 20 mins walk from Unawatuna Beach. Jungle beach is bit far if you want to walk but if you are taking a tuktuk or a bike, then it's just 10 mins away. If you want a budget stay around Galle, then this is the best one. Galle is just 15 mins away if you take a bus or tuktuk."
"Nothing as such as I a more of a backpacker traveler. But if you are someone who likes luxury, then you may not like this place much. It gets hot during the day and there's just a fan in the room with big windows. I didn't have any problem though!"
"Everything was sooo amazing thnx for it we loved it"

"Very helpful staff, very restful place, just what I needed. The wildlife i saw from the balcony was amazing and Hunter and Tina, the dogs, were my guardians."

"Clean room and toilet. You need 15-20 minutes by foot to the Unawatuna beach. They have a fen on the sealing and a mosquito net over every bed."
"Before booking check with the owner about the number of people in the room, photos are not accurate. We planned trip for 4 people and on the photos of accommodation it looked like we would need two bedrooms. When we came, each room had two double beds which means we could’ve easily booked only one room for all of us."
"The Host is friendly, and the location is near to restaurant."

"The owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful! Everything in the room was as expected, it was a large single room with a clean and working bathroom (I didn't try the hot water)."
"There was no indication of breakfast being provided, either when I arrived or any of the mornings. The location is also okay (shops very close), but there are definitely closer options to the beach."
"Great facilities and amazing value. Rooms are big and super clean. Family running the place are super friendly and helpful. Locations is great in a quiet street very close to train station and main road but without traffic or road noise. Wifi strong"

"My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The location is great, right next to Yala National Park. The huts are hand-built, made of clay, living in them is a unique experience. The host is very kind and friendly, helps in any way he can, we are very grateful to him for that and are glad that we met! 😊 The host also prepared some delicious traditional food for us. He will also help with organizing a safari, and can take you around the area himself and tell you interesting stories!"

"I can’t put into words just how beautiful and spectacular this place is. Honestly WOW! My rooms that had over 15 foot ceilings, everything made of stone, fans and air conditioning, the nature surrounding us, the Pool and the hotel grounds, the warm and amazing staff! My stay was short and I regret not staying longer. Just AMAZING and also the owner was there to answer all my questions and last minute demands. Don’t forget to tip the staff because they go over and beyond for you."

"What an unforgettable stay! The location of this camp is beautiful and perfectly located for the safari tour. You have direct access to the dune area during sun set hours. Just be aware that you will have to walk quite a bit through deep sand and there are a lot of nature sounds during the night."
"Lovely design of property, good homemade food and attentive staff. Moonlight safari was well worth it."
