"Everything about my stay was amazing! The husband and wife running the place treat you like family and ensure you have an enjoyable stay in Kandy. They helped me plan my activities and even organized a jeweler to make a ring for me. I got to go to their home and watch the ring being made. Overall 10/10 recommended!"

"I'm in the hospitality industry, and I have never had a kinder, more charming host. I would not visit Kandy again unless I cold stay here. It was a homestay, NOT a cold concrete hotel tower. Property was large enough to ensure privacy when needed."
"Located "up in the hills", it may seem hard to reach... until you realize that your other choice is smoggy, crowded downtown. TukTuks will get you there easily."
"I had a wonderful stay thanks to the host’s kindness and care. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The host was always ready to help with local tips and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. If you plan to visit, I recommend communicating your arrival time early — the host is very flexible and appreciates good coordination. Overall, it was a warm and memorable experience that I would happily repeat. Highly recommended!"

"The hosts made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They were incredibly attentive, providing great recommendations on places to visit and even giving me tips on how to avoid tourist scams. The bed was comfortable, and they went above and beyond by drying my clothes so they were ready for my departure. They even set up the terrace so I could exercise. When I struggled to find a tuk-tuk during rush hour, they kindly gave me a ride to the station. Their hospitality was outstanding."

"The place we missed the most in our trip. Don't be scared off by it's distance from downtown. The Tuktuk charged approximately LKR 300 from downtown. When you see Pringi and KC, you know it's worthy."

"We had the best stay at The Peppermint with Pringi and Srimal, they are so welcoming and kept us entertained from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was lovely and we had the pleasure of doing a cooking class in the evening to prepare dinner. The homestay is clean and spacious and is located a short tuktuk drive from Kandy city centre in a beautiful quiet area surrounded by jungle. We wish to return in the future!"

"My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The location is great, right next to Yala National Park. The huts are hand-built, made of clay, living in them is a unique experience. The host is very kind and friendly, helps in any way he can, we are very grateful to him for that and are glad that we met! 😊 The host also prepared some delicious traditional food for us. He will also help with organizing a safari, and can take you around the area himself and tell you interesting stories!"

My rooms that had over 15 foot ceilings, everything made of stone, fans and air conditioning, the nature surrounding us, the Pool and the hotel grounds, the warm and amazing staff! My stay was short and I regret not staying longer. Just AMAZING and also the owner was there to answer all my questions and last minute demands. Don’t forget to tip the staff because they go over and beyond for you."

"What an unforgettable stay! The location of this camp is beautiful and perfectly located for the safari tour. You have direct access to the dune area during sun set hours. Just be aware that you will have to walk quite a bit through deep sand and there are a lot of nature sounds during the night."
