"Breakfast was good, we got a nice quiet room in the inner garden"

"The location of this hotel is ideal as it is within walking distance from almost every major place of interest in Daugavpils. Moreover, the staff were extremely polite and professional and did not mind my lackluster Latvian abilities and also had fluent English. The breakfast was decent enough though it was more limited than I expected. The biplane theme of the hotel was whimsical and interesting. The water being drinkable was also a plus"

"There was no elevator and the sauna I was told is only available in a single room that needs to be reserved in advance. And though the profile on Booking.com says there is a bar in practice there is no bar, just a mini bar behind the counter with a limited selection. Also there was no option in the room for controlling the A/c. And in the room the toilet was already filled with what appeared to be rust and oftentimes needed to be flushed twice in order to properly work."

"The Manager Olga was Fantastic - honestly it is worth coming for how well she treats her guests. There were 8 of us and she even arranged music in the garden for us and gave our birthday girl a bottle of Proseco."

"I always stay here if I'm in the city. Love the staff, prices and breakfast. The location is actually good (the Church hill is near) but maybe not the closest one to the city center (but, the trams are very fast)."

"The room was comfortable enough and the breakfast was surprisingly rich. We were happy to be greeted in Latvian and the staff was overwhelmingly polite and helpful."

"- The main thing that bumped the score up is the outside yard with several tables under the tents, barbecue zone, trampoline, table tennis - allowing for various outdoor entertainment. - Breakfast included in the price was quite good."

"- We had a rather small apartment in a separate standing very old wooden house. The apartment was renovated still the rotten smell was present. - Second bed is located right under the kitchen in a very small room. - Bathroom though quite large was leaking when taking a shower."
