"Comfortable setting overlooking a lake in a small village surrounding. Friendly host who is attentive & helpful. The house is old & traditional but offers good basics. A fridge is available to use and hot water kettle with coffee & tea is in the room. Good WiFi. Not far from shops or food."

"Amazing location, right next to Talsi Lake. We spent half of the Night just watching the Fountain out of our windows. Parking right next to the door, and big garden that you can use. The owner was exceptionaly friendly, so we will visit again."

"Cosy old house (I was told more than 100 years if understood properly) with very good place as lake, nearest restaurant and old city - only in a couple minutes of walk. Good internet throughput."

"Not that I didn't like, but TV probably could be nowadays flat LED TV rather than small tube TV. From other side current old-style TV fits better to interior as whole 😀"

"A nice house near the lake, just a short walk from the old town. The owner is really helpful and gives a lot of information. You can also meet a lot of cats near the hotel. You can have a breakfast outside with a view of the lake and the old town in the distance."

"Very prompt lady who is going great job in such a cute place. Amazing garden, with beautiful view on the old town and BBq stop. We were luck to be there in summer, when cucumbers are ready, plums and gooseberries. House was it atmosphere. Talsi itself, good stop to travel different directions in Kurzeme. I recommend."

"I recommend, but not with dog, don’t know why I have to pay for every night my little dog stayed with us. Eight bucks a night, it may be too much if you are staying for a week or more. That was a surprise for me. May be it can be discussed in advance and get a good offer. Dunno"

"Refreshing to stay in a place with homey ‘grandmas house’ charm; Viktorija makes you feel like family and has great insight into walks and where to eat (take all her advice). Her garden is exceptional and a great place to sit, drink tea and look out over the lake; peaceful and lovely day & night."

"This is an absolutely worth to visit location in pure nature. Not only the horse riding is what you should not miss, but the kitchen of the owner in the restaurant of the horse farm offers you a variety of local heritage food that you rarely find elsewhere. The eel was caught in a nearby lake by the owner herself on the day of the dinner. As a horse lover, you will find for sure some souvenir in the tourist shop. The accommodation is in separate old traditional houses some nearby to the restaurant and horse farm, others a bit walking or you will be taken there by the owner. The clean nature, fresh air, and silence you will remember for long."

"The location of the house is awesome, right downtown Cēsis. Private parking right beside the house was really helpful. The host gave us very good instructions of how to get there, with pictures, which was very useful. The house is comfortable, fully detached, and very cool, an old house with all modern comforts. "As for us, an individual kitchen with a fridge was an absolute killer feature. Exceptionally welcoming hosts, very clean and quiet place, without crowds of tourists, we loved it. You could feel a true spirit of Jurmala here. Convenient parking place for several cars - right on site. Individual exit to enclosed courtyard with swings and well-kept lawn."

"First of all, I am not a person who likes to leave reviews, but sometimes you just have to, in a good way. We stayed for three nights and we literally felt ourselves like home. The place itself very clean and cosy, but the most important thing I want to point out is the family who hosted us. They were so nice to us and helped us in any way they could. While staying there, they also offered a nice tour in the classic car museum, which is a highlight itself. Also, for some extra money, you could rent a sauna house, for us, Estonias - the sauna people, it was perfect and could highly recommend it - it kind of matches the vibe of the classic cars, because it reminded me my childhood sauna experience from 90s. If I have to stay in Riga in the future for couple of days as well, this is definitely the place in top of my list to consider."
