"We came for New years. There is a wonderful communal feel, with large common room with loads of books and friendly proprietor who also helped us organize a car and driver for an excursion in New Year’s Day - not easy when everything is closed. We also got a bottle of champagne on New Year’s Eve! Great restaurant just across the street."

"Breakfast was hit or miss. It could be it was holiday time and normal staff not there."

"The staff was amazing! The breakfast we ate everyday was delicious and so full. The location was close to everything. 5-10 min walks from all the best restaurants and the best attractions of the Moldovan capital."

"The location was good, just not easy to find the first time at night when the taxi drops you off on the main street. You can walk to the main attractions. Our room did not have TV as it was described but we got another room when we asked. Staff was helpful, and birds were fun to talk to."

"The hotel was under construction, so noisy in the morning when they started working. Breakfast was good, but since the hotel was busy, there was not enough hot food or seating couple of the mornings."

"Mark is an exceptional host. I keep coming back to this property because of the great location and safe facilities as a solo traveler. The central courtyard means there are always folks coming and going which lends a feeling of security and life to the location. It always feels chill, never busy or loud. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are all updated. Great water pressure and temperate! I previously lived in central Chisinau and this is an ideal location, walkable to everything — parks, restaurants, services. Highly recommend!"
