"Loved the garden, such a nice place to sit and work or relax! Bed was comfy and rooms had everything you need. The little dining area is also really cute. Staff is very nice and security felt, well, secure!"

"Difficult to find. You should go to the street beside the park (not the one up on the hill) and then go up the stairs past the cafe called “mahatsara” on google maps. Luckily there was a helpful lady working at the snack stand on the road who directed me to the correct stairs - a sign would be helpful! The little window just looked at a wall in my room so it felt a bit dark, and the wooden doors outside the main door couldn’t close all the way or lock, so I felt a bit exposed at night. Someone came and banged on my neighbours door for two full hours in the middle of the night (2:30 - 4:30 am), I’m not sure what was happening there. Food must be ordered very far in advance, you can’t just come in for lunch or dinner without a few hours notice."

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was very convenient. A special mention goes to Fitiavana, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful from the moment I arrived. Their warm welcome and willingness to help made a real difference and made me feel immediately at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."

"Maison Lovasoa was my quiet hub in a very busy city. The location between the market and central area and the historic quarters is excellent. One of hotel's employees Fy went out of his way to provide warm welcome and solve all the bigger and minor problems and requests - from changing money and calling a taxi to planning a trip and looking after my things when I was away. You may ask his advice and assistance on travel around Madagascar, he'll be eager to help. All in all, the hotel's old mansion is a nice corner I recommend to stay in Antananarivo."
