"What a beautiful gem on the entire planet. I will definitely be coming back to this place. It’s everything I was looking for, serenity, beauty, relaxation, nice people and excellent food. You can’t be further off the beaten path with this one. Only accessible by boat. If you’re looking for laid-back beach vibes, this is your place."

"Our stay (two friends) at Berenice’s was wonderful. Luch and Maurice tools wonderful care of us. We booked the sea view room that had a king and two twins in a separate room. There are private loungers outside on a patio and a large deck with more chairs Fresh coffee was delivered to the room each morning. We were spoiled for beaches. The one out front is lovely and then you can walk in low tide many others around or paddle in high tide with the kayak or paddle boards. We are all of our meals in house. Lunch and dinner always included a starter, main, and dessert (lunch dessert was always a variety of fresh fruit). All meals included amazing fresh fish and seafood. Breakfast was bread, jams, honey, tea, coffee, fruit, yogurt."

"I would have liked some variety in breakfast or to include some options with eggs. The property works with different boat captains. Some of them are slower/faster and some of the rides we took to the island on an excursion seemed to be longer than it could have been."

"The other reviews were absolutely correct. The hotel is amazing and beautiful. The owners (Berenice) and staff are all locals. It is very family run, with her nephew, Johan, as the fantastic general manager and the person you interact with most. The food was superb! My wife is fully vegetarian and they kept all of her meals exciting and delicious, not to mention all of my ocean based meals. The massages (yes plural) were fantastic. From your balcony you can watch the dolphins and turtles close by and you walk straight out to snorkel in some beautiful reefs. I spent some quality time with a moray eel. What makes this place different - 1) locally owned and operated; 2) the love you feel being there. The risk - like us, you may be so comfortable and happy, you will not want to go in any other excursions 😀"

"If I have to critique - a bigger fan in the bedroom would be ideal as it got very humid at night."

"We really liked everything about the stay. The place is a little paradise, with beautiful garden, kind staff and delicious food. The bungalows were clean and spacious, it was really wonderful to stay there. They also helped us making plans for daily excursions, which were flexible and with local guides."

"Unfortunately at the very end, I've had a really bad experience with my return shuttle. I've reported this to the hotel via Booking but I don't think management did anything about it. I highly recommend booking own airport transfer rather than with the hotel!! It was unsafe!! Before I left, hotel staff reassured me that I would be picked up by the same driver that brought me to the hotel (Bobo). Once I got dropped off at the ship port, suddenly there was a group of strangers grabbing my stuff to an old rusty car I didn't know with a driver I didn't know either. I was repeatedly asking the driver who he is, whether he spoke with the hotel or whether he even knew what hotel I'm from, but he didn't know any of this information. I had no idea who that was and whether he is expecting me/would try to charge me for the taxi. Honestly with my things already in the trunk I felt really unsafe at that moment and the guys that brought me from the hotel with the boat have left already. I kept asking for Bobo, until the point that they called him, after some time he came down and said that he is busy, so he hired another driver to take me. I was not happy with this, given I paid 65 euro for a single person transfer (!) and the quality of the car was really bad. It honestly was such a bad end of otherwise a lovely hotel stay. After I reported it, I didn't receive any refund or update about the situation."
