"It’s about 30-45min from the airport depending on your taxi driver. The hotel will organise a shuttle from the airport and it will be added to your hotel invoice. They do accept card. It is a small hotel which is nice. My girlfriend and I rented an apartment and a hotel room next door for my parents. The apartment has all the amenities you need to cook and have a great breakfast together as well as a fridge to keep your items cold. Rooms have AC and fans, Bathrooms have a bidet and are nicely laid out. The restaurant and bar on site is fantastic and the staff make you feel at home and very welcome. The food is really fresh and the beers served are ice cold. They rent motorbikes to hotel guests, when rented one and drive around the island for 2-3hours. The roads on nosy be are really good. The beach outside the hotel is clean and it has a nice stretch you can walk down. There is a security guard at the front gate at night which is adds to the feeling of security."

"I have nothing negative to say about the property. Not necessary about the property but when deposit was taken from my credit card it was a strange payment message “FRED” with a Swiss phone number and in euros. It would be great to have a more descriptive message like Swisscocobeach. Again not about the property but the people selling items on the beach can be persistent even when sitting in the hotel restaurant."

"We loved our whole stay at Swisscoco. Staff was very friendly, accommodating to our demands, helpful. The location was amazing, best bay to stay on the island. All our wishes were met. And even though electricity blackouts occur regularly on the island, the hotel is perfectly equipped with renewable energy back up supply to smoothen out any power outages from the electricity grid. Food at the restaurant was also delicious. Love the fact that they are not trying to have 50 different options on the menu but only offer a few, daily changing but really fresh and yummy options - makes perfect sense to me."

"Very clean and on the beach. You can hear the sounds of the waves at night in your room which is really nice. The staff were lovely and very very helpful in every way they could be."

"Nice swim location, but you should rent a moped from the property to (plenty of beach front walking for 10-15 minutes if you are content with it, but otherwise the area is a bit small/local/residential off the main road a bit, and isolated). The food at the waterfront restaurant was fair, and setting was lovely. Their communication was good & reliable with the manager on property. Rooms are huge, but a bit concrete looking, a layer of paint would be more attractive."

"If you stay, choose lower level in advance, and mid or “right” side of building (when looking from ocean towards building) … the left side coincides with all the guests walking by to/from pool, restaurant, and waterfront and the lower left has less privacy if on property mid-day. Overall decent spot, but priced a bit high."

"Excellent small hotel carved right into the beach, their pool and dining area/bar is basically at the beach. Lovely staff, great food, everything was excellent. With frequent power outages in Madagascar, this place has a really good backup plan of powering standing fans with batteries/generators otherwise it would be too hot to sleep, which is a problem we faced in other hotels"

"Not walkable to market; Pool area did not have non-sand surface and no ability to wash feet off before going to room; Air Con was weak and did not really cool the room down much. Cabinets in room were not really designed for easy access."
