"Great location, walking distance to the center and many restaurants. Convenient parking that was free on the weekend. A small, private room that was both hot and cozy. The bathroom was shared among three rooms and was extremely clean. The staff was very nice. Highly recommended!"

"The host, Goran was the highlight for us at Hostel42! Checked in and paid by card and then Goran and I traded intros (he played Volleyball in the Moscow 1980 Olympics for Yugoslavia!). We then walked outside down the street and he pointed out a few key points such as bus stops, a bakery, grocery store, and where to eat nearby. He shared some restaurant tips that night as well. Regarding the quad room, it was spacious with good beds and furniture. Room was good temperature for sleeping in mid October. Bathrooms were also good (2 people showering at same time had plenty of hot water when used wisely). Kitchen had fridge and water boiler which we used to store food and also make coffee in the morning. Free Turkish coffee available!"

"The smaller shower door wouldn’t open or close fully, needs some repair. Bigger shower had no issues. If you are sensitive to noise, some rooms face a major street so car noise may be bothersome. Very few cars around though later at 11-12am so no issues sleeping for us."
