J Hotel

"The location was within walking distance of everything. I was able to get the items I needed easily and I could also walk to Sukhbaatar Square."

"It was near construction and a strip joint."

"The J hotel boasts several positive features. The staff were exceptional, providing great service throughout our stay. The location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring the area. We also enjoyed the breakfast that combined Korean and European styles."

"On the downside, the interior of the hotel appears somewhat outdated and could benefit from a refresh. In one of our rooms, we encountered an issue with stained towels and had to request replacements, which was disappointing."

"The hotel was busy with many Korean groups. I felt like I was in Korea. I enjoyed the Korean style breakfast. It was impressive how Korean customers helped by taking their used plates to the counter when they finish eating. It seems that the restaurant is well managed by a Korean lady, and she maintains good relationship with her customers. This way, I knew the food was going to be fresh and up to the standard based on trust. The front desk staff was very friendly and pleasant. The view from the room was nice, looking over the river. The street is not too busy."

"Cleaning staff needs retraining (manner.... no greeting. I don't really care type of attitude, like using the phone while working, etc.) Also other staff whom I encountered in the elevator had no common sense as to how to behave in front of customers. Teenager like attitude inside the elevator even after a customer joins, etc. The only decent staff were at the front desk staff and the breakfast place. Sewage seems to be a problem. The toilet fan was not really moving as it should. The room started to smell like sewage after a while, but it was not intolerable. Nice shower, though."

"Good location; delicious breakfast and great staff- very helpful."

"Our stay was not long enough and a missed opportunity to try breakfast as we had an early flight !"

"Receptionists are very helpful. They can organize a transport to Airport. Room was spacious, well equipped with kitchen and dishwasher."

"Big value for money. Staff very nice. Very comfortable. The room has a kitchenette and a washing machine. Dental kit. Very good breakfast too."

"Having a safe deposit box would be nice. Access to YouTube would be nice too. But the room rate is quite cheap so one should not expect too much I guess."

"Very comfortable hotel for a stay if visiting Ulaanbaatar. Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet and peaceful stay. Rooms complete with fridge/freezer and also a washing machine. Very friendly and helpful staff - who helped me organise a taxi for an airport transfer. Good location - only a short walk from the centre of Ulaanbaatar. Plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. Excellent value for money."

"Very nice location, just a 10 min walk from Sukhbataar Square Staff was very kind and welcoming The hotel arranged early check-in for me at 6 am without extra payment Washing machine in the room Overall experience was very nice"

"Not critical, but it would be nice to have some laundry detergent in the room for those who use a washing machine"
