"The property was beautiful and our room looked exactly like the photos. It was a nice comfortable size with a very large bathroom and exceptionally large shower. Staying in the room was very nice. I would recommend the property for this reason. There is a laundromat on St Paul street a block to the right as you walk up Melita street and a wonderful coffeeshop with incredible cupcakes a block further down on St Paul, across the street."

"I was very disappointed that nothing was mentioned about no staff being on site. Maids came in the morning and no one else was ever seen. There was no registration desk, only a few chairs and a bottle of whiskey with a bottle of water and a few glasses on a small table. I had asked if we could have a late arrival and the answer was yes, but no one even said, at that time, that I would receive a key pad code to use for entry. Luckily they sent photos showing that they had a small portch and the property was on a street made of steps where a taxi could not go. That was fine with me because I knew where the street was. Unfortunately, the taxi driver's GPS kept bringing us to the the street below. It was dark and stormy and since no street name could be seen, we refused to leave the cab. He tried everything, and I kept getting out in the rain to see if it was on each side street of the street we drove down. Luckily, when I received the key pad code that day I wrote it down or we never would have gotten in, due to the lack of wifi. Even with the GPS and exact street address the cab kept missing the place. It took well over an hour to find it. On the way out, I told the taxi company that I was on Melita, the side street that can be driven on, and gave a street number on the corner, so I could see the taxi coming and not miss it. I like service when we travel, so no registration personel means no information. I realize the property had little to do with the difficulty in getting there, and without their photo of the building, we would never have found it. If I wanted a self service facility I would go back, because of the location and comfort. The property could do a great service for guests to be up front with the fact that it is self service and make arrival much easier if they would mention that Melita is the closest side street to the hotel."

"Nice location. Quiet at night in Nov. Could walk all around the old city Valletta sites. Bright room on 3rd floor. Nice space. Good espresso machine & hot water cooker. Nicely appointed. Very clean. Welcome drink on the ground floor as you enter. Nice touch. Took a Bolt taxi from the airport, which brings you near, but not to the house door. Must negotiate some steps with your luggage, but inside the building there is an elevator up to the rooms."

"No breakfast here, but there’s a mini-fridge in the room & coffee shops nearby. Most do not open until 9, but one opens at 08:30AM (fresh bagels & coffee if you wish). Grocery store within 10 min walking distance."

"Linda really made our stay exceptional. Nice touches with a drinks cart with wine and whiskey. The location is quiet yet central. There are 3 coffee places within 2 minutes"

"The bed was too hard for us. There was only 1 chair for 2 people so drinking coffee in the morning was awkward."

"There was construction going on next door which is out of the hotel's control but did put a bit of a damper on any sleeping in late."

"The location and view were exceptional. We booked the room to enjoy Independence Day and the fireworks and it was perfect. Sitting in the jacuzzi watching the fireworks was a memory we will remember for a long time."
