"Located right across from the Mdina complex ,Casa Azzopardi is a comfortable retreat from the heat and crowds. The suite has been thoughtfully and beautifully furnished. Wonderful lighting, AC, and kitchen. Our host, Johnny was very kind and helpful with local suggestions. I wish we could've stayed longer."

"This is perfectly located just off the main parking between Rabat and Medina, making it the perfect base to walk to anything in either city. There are tons of cafes and restaurants nearby. The space is large and mostly quiet. We stayed on the top floor (so understand you will be walking up two long flights of stairs) and loved the terrace. Breakfast across the street was delicious and offered good variety. (They also helped to store our bags when the owner wasn't at the property to meet us nor answering messages after we arrived.)"

"The owner lost track of time and was two hours late meeting us to get into the property. There is no soap, but there are ants, in the shower."

"The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything you could need or want was provided. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. Johnny, our host, was very communiative and helpful."

"It's such a lovely room equipped with everything you would need for cooking. The microwave oven with a grill function is really cool, it made our pizzas, pastizzis and Qassatats crispy! The bed was the most comfortable I have slept during my Malta vacation! I loved to leave the Balcony window open and let the music and noise in from the nearby café, where we had breakfast every day (with vouchers from Casa Azzopardi). The location was perfect and just a few minutes away from Mdina (make sure to visit Mdina at least once during the day and once in the evening/at night) as well as the bus stop, where there are buses that will take you everywhere including directly to the airport. Johnny was the most accommodating host and was very flexible with our check-in and check-out time. Thank you, Johnny, we loved our stay in the elegant and cozy Casa Azzopardi!!!"

"The shower head holder was too low! I like taking a shower standing up without having to hold the shower head, but I had to squat in the bathtub to take a shower. But again the bathroom was nice and I enjoyed my stay there a lot so I could bear with it for a couple of days!"

"The location is perfect, walk out of the front door and it's 10 metres to the first cafe, the street if full of cafe's, restaurants and interesting shops. 5 minutes walk to the Medina and the bus stops are even closer. The room size was large with plenty of room for all of the amenities, the kitchen area was well equiped and the bathroom was ideal. Good solid furniture and the whole place was highly comfortable."

"The location could not have been better - we were in the heart of the old town of Rabat, next to many great bars and restaurants, plus a 5 minute walk to the walled city of Mdina. Thanks to some hot tips from the owner, we were able to have a great stay. Breakfast was excellent - it was included in the price and served at a local Cafe (Ta 'Doni) across the road from the apparment (10m away) with vouchers."

"There was a lot of street noise and the apparment bedroom window looked onto the main street. The down side of having a fantastic location is the ambiernt noise. Parking can be tricky, but 14:00 - 16:00 was a good time to park the car in the handy (3 minute walk) free public car park."
