"The appartment and the terrace are bigger than in the photos. It is very nice and bright, you have a big "baie vitree" overlooking the church (the red roof has a beautiful colour in the morning sun) and a side view on the Mellieha bay. The appartment is modern, clean and well equipped. There is a small supermarket Spar cca 8 minutes walk, another bigger one 15 minutes walk, 5 minutes by car, pharmacy 10 minutes walk. I had a rental car so can't speak for the public transportation, but finding parking was never an issue at the appartment or anywhere else (apart from Valletta, which is probably full all year round). Maria is a great host and a very warm person. We arrived late in the evening and she was there to greet us and answer all questions we might have had. She also booked boat tickets for Comino for us on a very short notice, she would advise us as to what to see and do."

"We really liked staying in 39 St. George Hotel as the room was large and well maintained. Being on St. George's Square was a lively choice during the day, and mostly quiet at night, except for some extended bell ringing at early morning hours. We also enjoyed the staff and breakfasts at the wine bar across the square (same owners it seems). Victoria and Gozo were well worth the extra effort as the pace of life was slower and the crowds less than Valletta."

"The room is in a prime location, in the very heart of Valletta's old town. The Host is very helpful, and also lives in the same building. The room was large, would have easily accommodated 4 people, and the price was very cheap, even during the Winter festivities."

"We had a room with separate bedroom, with view on gardens side. We enjoyed our stay, room has everything you need, communication with owner was on time. Thank you for welcoming wine and water. There's tower nearby and you wake up with beautiful bell sound. You can hear neighbors coming on stairs, but they did not disturb us. Location is convenient, stops, shops and restaurants in walking distance. There's no traffic noise."

"Owner is wonderful and very helpful. The apartment is comfortable and in a great location. We were not in the Penthouse .. but the lower apartment. Bedroom was at the rear of the property and was dark and we slept well. Good heaters which warmed the place up fairly quickly. Well equipped kitchen and the owner left is food for sandwiches. Good to have use of a communal washing machine."

"The apartment was very clean. Good size rooms. Very comfortable. Nice patio off of the main bedroom. Washing machine and lines to hang our clothes. We used the kitchen every day. Very close to Xlendi Bay with all the restaurants and nice walks around the area. Transit was very close by and easy to get around. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends."
