"Very clean room and apartment; very comfortable bed; large room; good a/c, good kitchen; Marco is very informative and friendly; plenty of electrical outlets; very quiet place and neighborhood; just 2 blocks to the bus station that has buses to both the airport and to Valletta; just 2 blocks from a pair of mini food markets that have the essentials that I needed."

"I had no access to use the elevator in the building. However, Marco did bring my large luggage up to the room for me, which was very helpful."

"Great communication, replies immediately and provides all the details about the accommodation. You share the apartment with the owner, but you hardly even notice him :) A beautiful and very clean place! The room has everything a person needs, including a private bathroom, and the accommodation is in a quiet area. Parking can be found nearby. I highly recommend it!! Excellent value for money."

"Host was very welcoming the property was very clean and tidy and the bedroom and en-suite spotless and adequately furnished. The bus stop to Aerport, Valetta and other tourist attractions is 100 meters away"

"It is a residential area and there's a lot of building work going on around the property and the promenade and restaurants etc are about a 15-20 min walk away"

"The communication with the host was really good. The apartment (as well as my room) was super-duper clean. I felt really welcomed and the place itself was really cozy with home-vibes. There were a lot of products in the bathroom to use and the oppurtunity to enjoy a warm bath was great. There was a lot of effort put into the quality of the mattress which was just to my liking. Also many spaces to put my things, extra blanket (which I needed) in the closet. I enjoyed watching Prime on the TV in my room - really relaxed me in the evenings. My favourite part was when a little bird flew on the windowsill to greet me in the early morning :)"

"There was a small window in the room so don't expect to get a lot of sunlight or a great view. There was no flexibility about the check-in and check-out time which I don't get because of the owner seemed to be a home a lot (but I did get to leave my suitcase there earlier). My biggest issue (as it tends to be with a lot of accommodations) was the noise - as a person with very quiet lifestyle (and a light sleeper) I am an opposite to the host and there was so much inside noise from 6am, so a good night sleep (or a nap) isn't what I got there. Also, there were some heavy construction noises here and there, so all in all not a very peaceful place when it comes to sounds but if you're only there to sleep after an exhausting day outside, maybe it could work for you."

"Not satisfy ..after I pay I recieve an email that says I only have one room of the appartment the coridor is a common aria..even the street location is not this he shows..we did'nt stay there its not privote at all.not recomandet."

"The mattress has seen its best years, not even a topper would save it. It would be changed. There was construction work going on at the neighbors' appartament, a drill woke me up in the morning. The neighborhood is dusty and some evenings is a problem to find a parking place."

I was looking for a quiet and safe neighbourhood with shops offering local products, and good access to the main attractions — and Sunlight House had all of these qualities. It’s located close to the beach, stunning cliffs, and a long promenade that leads to the charming centre of Marsaskala, full of restaurants, bars, and shops. The owner made sure the property was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. He is friendly, open, discreet, and very helpful. He also shares fascinating insights about local curiosities, Malta, and its history."

"I was travelling for work and it was conveniently located for the work I had to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations and even helped me carry my luggage up and down the stairs. The room was clean, tidy and well equipped with everything I needed. I had a very positive experience"

"It is a shared property which was explained to me in advance, just note that you are sharing with the family that lives there, not other travellers. It was perfect for what I needed but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples on a romantic weekend."
