"Nothing. The roads are challenging to get there but they are working on upgrading the tracks and they offer to come pick up people that don't have the ability to do off-road driving."

"The view, the energy, the surroundings : an escape from the hectic, busy modern life. The food was excellent and delivered fresh right to your door. The warm welcome from Sébastien truly makes you feel at home ; an experience out of this world. And the sunrise is simply a must."

"Wow! You want to escape the crowds, see some real forest and enjoy a bit of bat watching? This is the place. Sebastian is a great host. We parked down below and he drove us up in the 4x4. We had local food and met the locals on our walk up and down to the shack (about 20 minutes walk)."

"The cabin was fairly comfortable, it was peaceful and the view was stunning. The local country food and presentation was typical of the place my wife and I loved. The food was brought up by our host Sebastien. He was always welcoming and ready to make our stay better. Although the cabin concept has not got the frills of a hotel but it has the charm of old time peaceful Mauritian living. We highly recommend it."
