In stone lodges on the edge of the Etendeka Plateau, dwelling units at Grootberg Lodge propose far-reaching views. With an outdoor aquatic relaxation zone, it is run by an organization that aims to improve local welfare. The conservation organization supports projects in the area, promotes the importance of wildlife tourism to locals, and provides jobs. Featuring a furnished, wooden terrace with panoramic views, each room at Grootberg Lodge has a thatched ceiling and African décor. The shower in the private bathroom overlooks the plateau. With large windows overlooking the plateau, the rustic bistro has wooden furniture. There is a bar on site, and packed lunches are available. Possible trips include nature walks to search for elephant and rhino, meeting the Himba tribe in the native environment, and drives down the Klip River Valley, where animals go to drink. Hiking and horseriding are jointly available.

"The location is amazing. The view over the valley is a highlight of our trip. The way up to the property is a bit challenging, but was worth experiencing yourself. The staff was so friendly, they even gave a surprise singing performance. The food was a menu with local game, that was cooked straight on point. Compliments to the chef! Best game steak we had in Namibia!"
