Solitaire Summits Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor bathing area, a garden and a lunch room. The African themed accommodations are fitted with air conditioning and present views of the indigenous garden. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. Continental Buffet and dinner meals are all served at the Solitaire Peaks Lodge. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including hiking and game drives. The Namib Carnivore Conservation Center is based down at Solitaire. The guest farm is 52 mi from the Sossusvlei Dunes and 68 mi away from the Naukluft Mountains.

"Dinner was a typical South African menu...Dinner had to be pre ordered at check in, but the dinner was awesome. The room was beautiful....Clean and big and had a view of the bush area. We were truly blessed. The signage could have been more visible on the roads heading towards the lodge. The location once there is truly stunning...We indeed could have stayed for a longer period of time. This was a truly amazing experience. We were advised that there is a watering hole where the wildlife sometimes drinks from but alas we missed any night animals, but in the morning, we saw wild dog, Springbok and two feisty Squirrels (which made us laugh)"
"The fact that there was no fridge in the bedroom, that was the only downside...No TV facilities in the bedroom, but TV was not necessary when you had the entire scenery."

"We were looking for a stop between Sossusvlei and Swakupmond and this is the place to be. Real cute town, excellent apple pipe and guaranteed to see Cheetas in the nearby reserve. The lodge is beautifully decorated and the staff very friendly and helpfull. They helped us to book for the sand dune trip at Sand Harbour, so this was all arranged when we arrived their the next day. Stargazing at night is amazing."
