At The Dwarika’s Group of Hotels and Resorts, our ethos is about giving back to our guests, to Nepal, and to the planet – a philosophy that informs all that we do. We hold at our core a deep respect for the cultural and natural heritage of Nepal. The commitment to heritage conservation dates back to 1952. Our actions are always directed toward the restoration, conservation, preservation, and revival of the architectural, cultural, social, and natural heritage of Nepal. In line with these central principles, we constantly endeavor to nurture both people and the planet and to maximize the positive impact that we have on our surroundings and community. As such, with the aim to fulfill our responsibility towards Mother Nature and promote sustainability, the Dwarika’s Group is moving firmly towards an organic lifestyle of zero-waste. Further, by using Nepali design, artifacts, linen, and upholsteries we promote local skills that are inherently Nepali, we seek to revive crafts and cultural knowledge that are indigenous to Nepal. Day Spa and Bathroom amenities are made in-house in the Pancha Kosha Himalayan Relaxation Sanctuary drawing inspiration from ancient Ayurveda, Buddhist medicine, and traditional Himalayan Knowledge using Himalayan herbs. We implement and encourage natural, indigenous, and organic agricultural methods in our six eco-organic farms spread across the country hence preserving the environment. Celebrating the abundance that nature has bestowed we make a conscious effort to serve unadulterated, natural, and authentic culinary delights that are pure and natural following the Food Principles of serving organic, seasonal, and less travel food where possible in an effort to make a difference where we can.

"I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and resorts around the world and believe it or not, Dwarika’s is my favorite, one of the best! I love the combination of authentic Himalayan style and decor, lush plant life, and modern touches. I feel like royalty staying at this peaceful oasis in the city. It is truly a magical sanctuary, you don’t feel like you are in the middle of the city. The food is outstanding, truly excellent, and the service is top-notch. I love that the rooms come stocked with fruit, snacks, and gourmet tea. Staying here is a must have experience!"

"The staff is friendly and helpful. My luggage was delayed in Dubai and the staff followed up to ensure it was transferred on the next flight and delivered to the hotel prior to my departure the following day. It was my 5th stay at the hotel and the only place I stay when in Kathmandu."

"Hotel property was a gem----Classic old style, elegant, luxurious, beautiful, charming, and immaculately kept. A spacious and tranquil sanctuary in the Kathmandu city center. Entire hotel staff were attentive to our every need---made us feel like VIPs or honored guests throughout our 4 day stay. Our room was very large and comfortable. Multiple fine restaurants on property offered a wide variety of menu choices. Buffet breakfast was lavish in both variety and quality. Swimming pool was clean and beautiful, although we did not use it due to cool weather in February. Central Location was close to the Kathmandu airport and other attractions. Spa was most pleasant with courteous and helpful staff. Without being asked, the hotel staff presented a lovely surprise celebration and beautiful cake (baked by hotel kitchen) for my wife's birthday at our last dinner there. All in all, a wonderful experience for our time in Kathmandu. Highly recommend this hotel for any visit to Nepal."

"Bhiurankot Hill Top Resort is a serene escape with stunning panoramic views, beautiful gardens, and a refreshing pool. My room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, with free WiFi. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant offered delicious Local Nepali food like Sukuti, Local Chiken and gundruk. Pet-friendly, great bar with hill views, and excellent value. Perfect for relaxation away from the crowds. Highly recommended."
