Set on lovely private gardens, these log style chalets are resides 3 minutes’ drive from Alexandra. There is a seasonal swimming plunge pool and a BBQ area. All chalets feature a private patio and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests have access to a self-service laundry and free on-site secure garage. There are free transfers to and from the Rail Trail. Each wooden chalet offers a living room with a sofa and a flat-screen TV with digital channels. Heating and electric blankets are included. Central Chalets Ltd are 5 minutes’ drive from Clyde. The Queenstown and Wanaka ski fields are a 90-minute drive away.

"This place was a peaceful oasis just outside Alexandra with modern clean chalets with very comfy beds and good cooking facilities including a shared BBQ. The owners have worked hard to make this a fun place to visit with games for the family and a small pool and hot tub. They even encourage their guests to pick fruit from the many fruit trees around the property. This turned out to be one of the best places we stayed during our trip to NZ"

"Chalet was very spacious and homely. Bed was extremely comfortable! Had everything that we needed and more. The grounds were lovely and was great having parking right outside our unit. Each unit is separate and private. The shower was very powerful which was great. We thought there might have been a bit of noise from the main road but it didn't bother us at all. The host was amazing, so welcoming and friendly! We stayed 2 nights but this place would be great for a longer stay. Really appreciated the toffees and mints in our room, a lovely touch!"

"This couldn’t have been better for me. I never leave reviews, but here it’s well deserved. Lovely owner who even ran me to the supermarket as I came by bike. I needed a chill rest day, and got that in beautiful settings, with the dogs as company…and they even laid on the Aurora for us at night!!!"

"Super friendly owners. Great that we could have our dog with us, she played with their dogs. We'll equipped kitchen, comfy bed and v good shower. Perfect base for a couple of days pottering about on our bikes. Nice and private. Would be fantastic in summer with the fruit trees and gardens."

"Chalets were actually nicer than the pictures, will definitely stay there again. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were great also. We had the 2 bedroom and it was just perfect for us. The hot tub was just at perfect temp also, nice and relaxing, The only thing that could have been better would be Spring time with all the fruit trees budding!!!!"
