"One of the nicest places we stayed in. Our cottage was wonderful and had everything you could need--sparkling clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Grounds/facilities are excellent. Appreciated having laundry too. Location is fantastic. Flaxmill bay beach is across the road and Lonely Beach and Cooks Beach are within walking distance. Wonderful cafe just a few minutes walk away for delicious coffee every morning. Very close to other sights like Hot Water Beach. Staff are friendly and helpful with good recs (thanks, Robbie!). Highly recommend!"

"Loved the location, good parking. the grounds were phenomenal! Tropical, beautifully landscaped, lush & private little beautifully maintained cozy cottages that were so charming & well appointed. Great storage in the bathroom. Quiet & perfect for strolling the shared grounds & campground. The jungle bird sounds were amazing to hear all day but especially to wake up to. The beach is right across the street, hiking trails are nearby & the best restaurants , the Hive and eggsentric !"

"Garden View House at Flaxmill Resort was an excellent place to stay. The facilities exceeded our expectations. The interior is thoughtfully designed, and the high quality of everything provided—bedding, kitchen supplies, and furniture—made us feel right at home. The surrounding garden with bushes and trees offers privacy and welcome shade during hot summer days. The house was absolutely spotless, which was another pleasant surprise. A truly first-class accommodation!"

"We appreciated this very cute little cottage. Obviously a labor of love for the owners who have tried to maintain the nostalgic history of the home. We found it to be quite comfortable overall and convenient to walk to restaurants etc down the esplanade. We had a small issue with a smoke detector battery and the owner quickly responded to resolve the problem. We really appreciated the welcome gift of wine and cheese. Very thoughtful after a long drive. Wonderful little courtyard and access to laundry. Very well equipped overall for cooking in."

"Murray’s on Mary was an excellent choice of stay for us . It had all the home comforts you could wish for with bests that were so comfortable you didn’t want to get up .. Showers are often hit & miss when away from home but this one was a hit all the way . We loved Ziggy & the 1950’s coffee table was a delight ."
