"Rustic, quiet, huge bathroom, beautiful view, great location, and the laundry facilities were welcome and easy to use. Hosts were not present, but responded helpfully and quickly to emails."

"Not a negative, but meals need to be carefully planned. There are very few choices for eating out or buying groceries anywhere nearby. The kitchen in the cottage is very minimal. We appreciated the use of the BBQ. We were grateful for our own additional picnic supplies and bringing food that mostly didn't need to be cooked. Again... not a complaint, just a heads-up."

"The perfect little cabin with a stunning view. Just a short walk to the beach and the famous Punakaiki Pancake Rocks, it’s an ideal location for exploring the area. Peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, it’s an excellent place to relax."

"Wifi and mobile connection was very spotty, but to be expected given the remoteness of the location and mentioned ahead of time. Host gives very clear instructions before check-in regarding property and surrounding area which is very helpful, but was very slow to respond to the messages on booking.com after check-in. Not a big deal, but something which could be improved for future guest experiences."

"The cottage was very tidy and comfortably furnished. We both enjoyed the ecostore bathroom products. My friend is low vision and found the cottage very accessible and floor coverings weren't slippery. We both enjoyed the windows over the beds - it was great to feel the fresh air at night and not worry about bugs."

"The only things were the tap water was slightly brown and tasted metallic, but we just bought some water bottles. The shower mixer kept getting bumped but that's just a minor thing to do with my height (shorty here)."
