"Loved the atmosphere, the room was clean and had good airflow with the fans, the location was great too. Would love to return here someday!"

"The views, proximity to Bocas town & other attractions, the delicious meals, the amazing supportive and happy staff. Please give Melanie a pay raise. Her customer service skills are more than outstanding!"
"So many steps but it is what it is."
"The property was beautiful, located just a short boat ride away from most everything. Common area was comfortable and lent to a community feel. Rooms were beautiful."
"Food was mediocre. It all seemed like food ready to go versus cooked fresh. We stayed on every major island in Bocas at B&B type properties, and the food did not measure up to the other properties. There was no fresh water available (just filtered rain water - which was brown). The property was under major construction - which would have been nice to know prior to booking. We would have chosen another place to stay. The drain in the bathroom was slow - it would fill during a quick shower. I see the draw - it is a hostel with very nice private rooms and facilities, just not the fit or vibe for us compared to the 3 other properties we stayed at in Bocas."
"Vibe is great. Social and relaxed. Staff were sweet. Shoutout to Sam and Ava. Also the slide is epic"
"A bit isolated. It would be great if they cleaned up the trail"
"Staff made everything 10000/10. Shari, Evelyn, Sebastian, Andrea, Mel and Dani are awesome staff. Very welcoming and warm. Always happy to help and make your stay awesome. The facilites were good everyday cleaning"
"Humidity did not let anything dry but theres is laundry service :)"
"Had an amazing, unforgettable experience at Bambuda Lodge. The guests all had wonderful energy, traveling from all over the world. And I can say the same for the wonderful staff and volunteers- especially Engel, Liv, Juan, Dani, Fredo and others. The highlights of the stay were lounging around the gorgeous pool, looking at the stars on the hammocks, spotting sloths, FAMILY dinners, the hike on the property, kayaking and spotting a reef shark and of course filthy friday. No doubt this hotel represents the best combination of fun, free spiritedness, relaxation, flexibility and adventure."
"Construction noise- but once its done the place will be even more magical."
"The food was really amazing, slightly expensive but really good. Of course it is the only option for food unless you leave the island so with that in mind, it is more understandable that it is expensive, and it evens out. The staff is incredible. They are all so kind and so nice. Danny was so kind every morning, Melanie and Shoiy (I dont remember how to say her name but Melanies friend;) were so nice to us and made us feel like family. Hannah and Liv - the volunteers- were very helpful. Everyone there was just amazing."
"The price on food, but like I said, it is understandable. Other than that everything was wonderful. They are doing construction right now which typically would be annoying but it didnt affect us at all."
"I had an amazing stay at the bambuda lodge, the staff are all super nice. Even with the construction I just didn't really want to leave. I have never had this good food at a hostal. Also I would love to thank Martha and Fredo for the lovely jungle hike. You can also see sloths from the pool and dolphins playing in the bay."

"The staff is awesome. Super friendly permanent staff who remembers your name everyday immediately after you check in. Cheri is the best and with. Warm heart and smile. Mathilde and Piedro on the staff were super fun and made the hike excursion memorable and thrilling. You can meet fellow travelers very easily in the pool and the deck area and then everyone eats together at the same time up at the common dining area. Then you can stay to converse or participate in their nightly themed events. If you want to read a book and relax in solitude, you will a spot for you as well."
"No A/c in my room. But everyone gets personal fans over their beds which worked out fine."
"Bambuda Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. A special shoutout to Sheri for making the meanest and most delicious cocktails, she is a gem. The staff not only organizes tours but also makes it very easy for solo travelers to connect by hosting social events. When I visited, it was more on the younger and social side compared to some other Bambuda locations. The views are stunning, but what really struck me was the beauty of the jungle huts, which give a high-quality hotel feel right in the middle of nature. Volunteers make sure you are entertained and always have activities to join. Highly recommend and a million thanks to the Bambuda Lodge teams for making this a beautiful stay!"

"It is a paradise; the fish species are just a few steps from your room"
"Es sind nur 2 Häuser auf der Insel und die meisten Tages Touristen sind auf der Rückseite in einem „eigenen“ Bereich, daher ist es wundervoll entspannend. Die Einheimischen hier sind sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen ist sehr lecker und ausreichend- vor allem das Frühstück! Auf anderen Inseln ist es oft eher Massenabfertigung beim Essen."
"Highly recommended! It took us a while to find the right boat. We almost booked a smaller boat for basically the same price but look no further, Renaissance is a beautiful well kept boat and much bigger than the average and very spacious inside. We spent a few nights on board Renaissance and I have to say I did not expect that high level of service. From the moment we stepped on board we felt like home. A wonderful family dynamic. Captain Morgan is very professional and we felt safe at all times. He took us to the most beautiful islands and incredible snorkeling spots. Petra's cooking was just extraordinary. The flavors and the presentation were spectacular. The kids were very lovely and polite and they helped us as guides on the islands since we don't speak spanish, it seems like they know all the locals which we found adorable. /Pierre"
