"The property was very clean! It’s a great place to stop if you are catching the Ferry in Almirante. The property owner is very nice and has great communication to make sure you can find the location and you have what you need. Excellent value and can’t beat a warm shower after a long day of traveling."
"In order to access the house, a 4x4 is imperative. Try and arrive during daylight as even for am experienced driver that uses 4x4 often, it’s a challenging location. Obviously not controllable but it had rained right before our arrival making the drive even more tricky."
"The view is amazing. The owner showed us around, he invited us for a coffee and we had a great conversation in the morning. I would go again, lovely family business and I wish them all the best."
"It is quite hard to get to the place, the owner told us that they are improving but until then don't try to go up with normal car, he will come to pick you up if needed. I went with a 4x4 car and raining, and I managed to go up. Anyway. The place is great."
"The hosts were super nice. They were super available for anything, such as driving us up there in their pickup van, when we said we didn't had food for dinner, she offered to cook us a meal for a reasonable price. Everything we needed, they were there to help. Also they were considerate to guarantee we could get a "colectivo" bus when we left (it was easter friday and we were not certain they were running). Really cool place."
"We didn't had wifi in our apartment. However they offered wifi that worked close to the main house of the property."
"Perfect for our needs! We were looking for a one night stay near Almirante to be able to do the Oreba chocolate tour in the morning and take a water taxi to Bocas. The road to the house is not suitable for regular cars but we were picked up by the main road and driven to the house so we didn't have to climb the hill. Patricia, a woman living at the property, cooked a fabulous chicken dinner for us for $10 per person (home made lemonade included). We met her young son, dogs and chickens. All in all, it was a very pleasurable night."

"The owner was very friendly, the view from the spot was perfect and it had everything we needed. It was kind of unique experience to be there. Great for stopping by before going to the ferry to Bocas del Toro."
"The WiFi didn't worked really well and the drive way is bad (but the owner will give you a ride up to the hill :))."
"Our host was really entertaining and sharing interesting stories. The location on the mountain is very nice!"

"the place is up on a small hill. i almost gave up on this place the moment i found that the road was not paved. we decided to give it a try with our suv and that was a good decision. the room was clean, the view was fantastic, and the owner was friendly. the facilities were not perfect but that is the case for everyone's life. if you want to experience local life and natural environment, this is the palce."
"wifi didn't work during our stay."
"A most warm welcome on arrival. It's a spacious cabin with all the luxury you need. The garden is stunning and the view over the sea is even more spectacular. As a bonus there were sloths in the trees!"

"Highly recommended! It took us a while to find the right boat. We almost booked a smaller boat for basically the same price but look no further, Renaissance is a beautiful well kept boat and much bigger than the average and very spacious inside. We spent a few nights on board Renaissance and I have to say I did not expect that high level of service. From the moment we stepped on board we felt like home. A wonderful family dynamic. Captain Morgan is very professional and we felt safe at all times. He took us to the most beautiful islands and incredible snorkeling spots. Petra's cooking was just extraordinary. The flavors and the presentation were spectacular. The kids were very lovely and polite and they helped us as guides on the islands since we don't speak spanish, it seems like they know all the locals which we found adorable. /Pierre"
