"The rooms were excellent! The woodwork was amazing throughout the entire facility."
"Nothing really, it was only 30-40 minutes from the airport"
"Great clean comfortable room. Private quiet location. Nice handmade pizza on premises, otherwise no dinner service. Friendly owners on site."
"Some construction going on for future improvements. The private beach needs some cleanup. Kayaks were available but no information given as to where to go. Apparently there was a nice bird sanctuary within paddle distance. Would have been nice to have been told. A full kitchen at our disposal which would have been nice to know before we arrived."
"I stayed at Fare Oviri two times, during my vacation in French Polynesia. Both stays were quite excellent. The host and his family were friendly and very attentive to their customers’ comfort. The breakfasts were home~cooked and tasted wonderful! On multiple occasions the hosts took guests in their power boat, for an afternoon tour of a nearby Motu, where I was able to snorkel and film lots of tropical fishes and coral. (There was no additional charge for that guided tour). I would highly recommend this accommodation to others. 👍👍"
"Can’t think of anything ~ it was all quite excellent !"
"The accommodation was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was phenomenal."
"Everything was above expectations."
"Well equiped bungalow in the see side with beach and free kayaks Well equiped kitchen Very helpful hosts full of good advise"
"Very remote in the south of the island You need a car No food on site and sketchy restaurent Best to buy you own food"
"Michael and his wife were absolutely wonderful hosts, they are putting in a lot of work to make the property even more beautiful. They were very attentive to our needs, and helped arrange excursions (best to arrange before you arrive, they fill up!) The bungalow was lovely, clean and roomy (fresh flowers in the room when we arrived). The shared space had everything we needed to prepare meals. We indulged, and had two breakfasts prepared for us, we were so full we skipped lunch both days! Kayaks are provided with nice snorkeling, and the huge archaeological site within paddling distance. We encountered dolphins on our day paddling. Rays are common, but we missed seeing them. We absolutely recommend a stay here, they are equipped to host couples and entire families."
"Having a rental car is highly recommended, it is 45mins to an hour from the main town where most diving and excursions are based. That said, a car is a GREAT way to see the entire island, we were very happy we had one for our entire stay."
"We were meet by the owner Michel and his staff. All the staff were very accommodating and pleasant they made us all feel at home. The staff did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay, they were very attentive. The property was perfect for me and my whanau (family) we live near the ocean in NZ. We enjoy being near the ocean and forest. A great opportunity for all to rejuvenate mind and body. We were all able to relax and enjoy the private beach. We were very grateful and blessed for their assistance with the option of a late check-out and help with transport to Uturoa Airport. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The Kitchen/pantry storage and dining area's were clean perfect for our needs. We will be back. Tau Ke!!"

"This was an excellent find. We needed to make a last minute reservation and they were very accommodating for our group of 9. Although it is a little out of the way, and you really need a car to get there, it was a beautiful spot and the staff was exceptional."

"The owners are super friendly and we had an amazing stay. There is a nice private beach and they offer free kayaks where it’s possible to visit a small Motu for a snorkeling stop. They also offer great pizzas and breakfast."
"It’s a bit remote and a car might be needed. As there are new owners they are renovating a lot and also building a new main house, that lead to some noise."

"The bungalow provided just what was needed and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway far from the busy city. We woke up each day to the sights and sounds of the ocean from our bed and enjoyed the beautiful, uncrowded area. It was hard to leave. Victor went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we wanted, from coconuts, kayaks, and Wi-Fi."
