"The room, bathrooms and shared areas were very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was great, right in the middle of Papeete near the port. I really enjoyed my stay."

"Conveniently located 5 minutes from the ferry. There are restaurants and bars around. I had a small private room with no window. The AC worked well and the bed had some very comfortable cotton bedsheets. Breakfast starts very early wich is great, I could eat before boarding the early ferry. Bring your soap and shampoing. None is provided. For one night, it worked for me. I would stay again."

"Excellent location in the city, ferry terminal is 5min walk away, there are taxi stands and bus stops to get to the airport or around the island. Of course being in the city, all restaurants and shops and night life is also right next to you. AC was amazing, wifi as well."
"There is a rule of no walking anywhere with shoes, which would be fine, if the floors were kept clean. You can just imagine going barefoot to the toilet when there is dirt and pee in the floor. Also no soap for handwashing in the shared toilets, which is insane, nor shower gel in the common showers. So lets say hygiene is not great here. Also there are quite many stairs to climb if that is an issue for you or you have heavy luggage. Also if your room (we stayed in private room) is located next to the common area with sofas, you will hear people chatting till early morning even if wearing ear plugs."

"We had a private room with shared bathroom. The room was small with just a bed no window but had air-conditioning. The washrooms/showers were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. In the morning they have complimentary bread, jams, orange slices, juice and coffee. There is a fridge to store your own food. Definitely a budget accommodation but worked fine for us as we had a late flight arrival and just needed a place to sleep for a few hours before catching a morning ferry to Moorea. The hostel is a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry dock which is the main reason we stayed here. There are also two ATMs close to the hostel if you need cash upon arrival."
