"We have always loved this small beachside hotel even when it was Water Beach Club. It is a very pretty part of the beach on Isla Verde and the rooftop has always been a fabulous place for a cocktail, food and the fabulous view. Now with the addition of the new second floor restaurant and pool with its much better cuisine and relaxing chic atmosphere the hotel is even better. The rooms are completely refurbished and the staff are pleasant helpful and professional. The loungers on the beach are new and comfortable and service on the beach was great too. One day they had someone making tequila drinks right on the beach."

"The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was not great and as we love Puerto Rican coffee in PR, cafe con leche, we were disappointed with the expresso and European style coffee drinks. The early stays we had at WBC with breakfast on the first floor with excellent PR coffee served with great breakfast never returned after Covid. For such a high end boutique hotel this was a disappointment. In six days we ate our breakfast at the Sonesta down the beach after our first day."

"Great overall experience. Was hoping the gym was a better set up. The bed sat on a platform where I constantly hit my foot on the corner. Other than that the room was so amazing and comfortable"

"Restaurants, bars and two pools on the property and the beach chairs with the umbrellas was wonderful. I hadn't done too much research before arriving so all was exceptional and a pleasant surprise."

"Nice pools and restaurant. Even though we did not take advantage, the spa seemed nice as well. The front desk people were super cool."

"The room design needs work - the closet did not fully open because the doors hit the edge of the bed, there are not enough places to hang shower towels after use so they can dry, and the shower leaked out of the door. Beyond that the pillows in the room are so big they cause neck ache."

"There was one elevator the whole time during my stay and it was just a lil irritating. And the stand up shower had a leak which I didn’t know about until the day of my checkout."

"The location of the property is excellent. Additionally, the renovated rooms are great. I loved how clean the rooms were and the cleaning service they did a great job cleaning and freshening up the room. The employees of these hotel were all very personable, Gigi was great along with Luis and Rafael. They really know what it is to make you feel special all very attentive and kind."

"The property itself is great, however, perhaps because of the construction at times there was no hot water. Hopefully, in the future this would improve. I complained about it one time to the front desk personnel, he stated they would restart the heat. It seemed to work momentarily, but the next day there was no hot water. Additionally, the beach lounge chairs are plastic and very uncomfortable. I have stayed at other hotels on the strip where the lounges are extremely comfortable which allows the guest to stay longer at this beautiful beach."
