Only 2 real dinner restaurants, and the Italian is closed on Mondays, so you need to make plans to eat off property some.

Absence of guide for beach activities and a the lighting of the room was a bit darker. However, it doesn't affect my overall rating. I love the room.

"Michael the doorman was very friendly and informative. He gave us plenty of information on the surrounding wildlife. The location was close to Fota wildlife park which was well worth a visit. There was a good selection for breakfast with a continental buffet and hot food from the menu. Lunch and dinner were also top notch. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were nice and quiet during the evening."

No taxis nearby and no shuttle service to/from the train station. Their shuttle was in the shop the week I was staying there.

The staff at the pool were not very helpful. We asked for pool towels and were told they would be brought to us, but we waited almost 20 minutes. Eventually, we had to go and ask again.

"The room is very spacious and is basically a whole apartment with bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and varanda. The decoration is cozy and elegant, all in good taste. There is a small commercial area with bakery, mini market, restaurant, beauty salon, self-service laundry, and child care."

We stayed in the room above the restaurant and it was a bit noisy (chairs and tables being dragged around) during clean-up at 11:30 pm. The bathroom lacked lighting above the shower and hooks to hang the hand towels... and the towels were a bit worn out.

I didn't like the standard room but it was changed to a deluxe room for a small fee.

The mattress is not very comfortable. The sofa-bed was actually better.

"The hotel is located very close to the beach, you can also use the outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool is especially nice when the weather is colder. The price also includes a nice wellness. It is great to have the option to buy lunch and dinner. All the food was excellent."

For personal preference, I did not enjoy that the property did not have a coffee bar area with espressos, lattes,etc. Also, I would’ve like for the souvenir shop to offer more variety in cultural snacks and drinks. Water and fountain drinks were limited for purchase:

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect

"Wonderful location, beautiful facilities and excellent staff. Nothing was ever too much hassle, especially from our main host Sarra who couldn’t have been better. Not sure how we will visit a “normal” hotel again!"

Plastic rubbish floating in the sea and oil washed up on shore from a recent spill. Not the fault of the hotel or its staff though.
