"We can't say enough good things about La Locanda! It is a beautiful property with lovely rooms and a wonderful dining area. The food was excellent, and it was convenient and much appreciated to be able to walk to the lobby to get a beverage or glass of wine. The staff and service were absolutely top notch! They were extremely accommodating to our schedule and were able to provide transportation from Kigali and for our various outings. The location is close enough to the city that it is walkable and convenient, but it is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood."

"Bathtub...enough said. Truly a paradise in Musanze and a wonderful place to either just hang out and relax or as a base camp for Volcanoes National Park. Wonderful food and lovely staff! You wont regret staying here!"

"It's a nice cosy place, with very nice service and relaxing atmosphere (great playlist for example). Nice to have complementary drinks throughout the stay Breakfast was very good the first day, but then I got less and less as days went by. Room was very nice also."

"The area around the hotel is not very nice. I had great expectations about the (italian) food after reading comments, and I was quite disappointed. For example, I got two evenings the same dish (while staying only 3 nights). Overal, I found the hotel a bit overpriced, even by European standards"

"It was my 2nd stay within 3 days in same hotel as I left my luggage here in store room before going to Gisenyi Beach city. On my return journey, I reached to Bus station and was assisted by staff to explain address to Motorcycle. Staff explained well and I was back to hotel but now in a different room because the room I took 2 days before was already occupied by some other guest. Actually I found that this hotel is most of time occupied by budget travellers. I enjoyed the same hospitality as my previous stay. As my current project will require me travelling to Kigali frequently, I will always prefer to stay in this hotel as it fit in my budget."

"We truly enjoyed our time at the pool and the lake. Although the room was smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still comfortable and perfectly fine. The pool area was well-equipped with almost everything we needed. I deeply appreciated the attentiveness and initiative of the bellboy, who was very helpful with our luggage, especially during checkout. I would also like to commend the receptionist ( PATIENT ) for assisting us throughout our stay. We welcome by this guy ( not sure but it seems the manager ) with warmth greetings and a he was very friendly with my daughter.The breakfast was excellent, offering a wider variety of options compared to the buffet dinner. Overall, all the staff—particularly those in the restaurant—were very welcoming and friendly, especially towards my daughter, who loved spending time and playing in the restaurant."

"the location is amazing, always love staying at Paradis, although i think their bed and rooms need a bit of revamping, the mattress felt old, same as the shower, and bed covers. the staff is always amazing ready to help in any possible way. One extra thing, they could widen the wifi range. as some rooms don't have wifi."
