"The hotel staff were amazing. Always polite and helpful and smiling. The twin room we had was spacious and the beds were soooo comfortable The whole place was always so clean and smelled wonderful. And nothing could beat the location. Near transportation, restaurants, bars, convenience stores , hawker centers. All in all an amazing stay. Do yourself a favor and book here when you are in Singapore."

"Not able to adjust the window in any way. They warn you about it and it’s a heritage building but it was too bad. The shower is a whole bathroom situation. You can see they are already trying to mitigate water leaving the bathroom and into the walls but as of now it’s all still good."

"It’s rare that the receptionist brings you up to the room and gives you a tour. I felt very comfortable inside my room! And I like that reusable bottles were provided so you can use to fill water downstairs. Sustainability!"

"perfect location easy to walk to anywhere or even take a bus or MRT Plenty of food nearby and neighbourhood is nice to walk around. Nice little detail in the room like mindfulness stuffs. Love that there is a bottle for us to refill water hot and cold. lay out of the room is nice"

"hair dryer get heated easily and need a pause to continue using. Pillow is a bit too hard for our tase"

"Would give a perfect 10 but our only small minus would be for the bed. It was a bit too hard for our liking however it may actually be ok for other tourists, depending on your preference."

"Great location. Clean bathrooms and showers. They provide access to a pantry where you can fill your water bottle with hot or cold water. They also provide two free glass bottles that you can use to fill up on water if you do not have a water bottle. Overall, I enjoyed the location, overall cleanliness, and service of the property."

"However, I do wish I had sprung for the bigger room. I rented the attic room and we had a very small space. The shower and toilet were right next to each other so showers often resulted in a wet toilet."

"Great location close to a few Hawker centers, metro stations, and Chinatown. Small lounge on the lobby floor with a microwave, hot and cold water dispenser and dining table. The staff was super friendly and helpful."

"There was no shower door, so water splashed all over the bathroom floor. They gave us extra towels to dry off the floors after shower. No hand towels or face cloths were offered. A high step into the bathroom."

"We got two rooms right next to the elevator. You can hear it all night every time someone takes the elevator"

"Excellent location, located near China Town, walking distance to a lot of popular places and to Maxwell Hawker center. You could leave your bags there after check-out as well as before check-in. The rooms were locked with an electronic lock (keyless). There was also a place to refill your water bottle in the common kitchen."

"The toilets smelled rather funny. I think there was something wrong with the plumbing. Nothing wrong besides the toilets to be honest. One of the free refillable bottles were not too clean."
