"It is cheap from a Singapore point of view. It met my expectations for a budget place. They met my request to stay in a male dormitory, even though they didn’t actually have one. It was just a place to sleep, and that’s exactly what I paid for. But the hostel has everything a solo traveler like me needs."

"1. For its price, the facilities are good - you have a DIY laundry (though there's only one machine for 20 beds). The bunk bed is also good. It has air circulation, privacy curtain and charging points. 2. There's an pantry where you can make your coffee. In theory, you probably can cook a meal too, if you bring your own utensils and groceries, which is great. There's heater, oven (don't remember if it had induction stove). 3. Helpful staff. 4. smart password locker for valuables."
"1. One drying machine is out of order. Washing takes about 30 mins and drying takes atleast an hour. There ought to be two drying machines! 2. Also, no cloth hanging line, even though there is a notice that says so (probably not needed if you use the dryer). 3. Minor issue: Dirt in the back door of the building. 4. You'll be cramped for space in the common areas. But that's probably to be expected from a hostel."

"I checked in late at night by myself. They gave me all the instructions. There are lockers in the room. There's lot of clean bathrooms. They allowed me to leave my bags at reception after checking out to wait till my flight. The bed had clean sheets and towel. There were good slippers to use while staying. You can wash your shirts and put them in a laundry room for drying for free in the evening (they have a laundry room!). One of the best hostels I've stayed in."

"This was my third time staying at CapsulePod@Aljunied, and I enjoyed it. Welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable beds, spacious capsule with a curtain for complete privacy. Room, toilets and showers were always clean. Great location close to shops, hawker centers, restaurants and just a couple minutes walking from Aljunied MRT station. I stayed there before, and would definitely stay again!"

"One of the cleanest and nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms feel very private and secluded with the curtain. We were in a double bed at the end of the rooms and it seemed bigger and large enough to put our bags. Beds were super comfy and had AC and a safe to lock up our valuables. Also the showers were amazing."

"The property is well located, with a city bus stop and the Downtown MRT station (Jalan Besar) situated just opposite the hotel, making it very convenient to reach from Changi Airport. The surrounding area includes shopping facilities, particularly Indian restaurants including vegetarian options, grocery shops, money exchangers, bars and restaurants, and massage parlours."
