"Very good — worth the money. We loved the location of Apartments Maria — right by the river and just a 2-minute walk from the Dragon Bridge. Everything was exactly as described. We stayed in Room 11, which has a beautiful river view. The room was clean, with fresh bed linens, large towels, and comfortable bedding. The shared bathroom on our floor (shared with two other rooms) was always clean and equipped with toilet paper, air freshener, and hand/body soap. The house has charming wooden stairs, central heating, and it was warm enough throughout our stay. On the first floor, there is a large shared fridge available for all guests, although we didn’t use it. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. The location, cleanliness, and river view definitely make it a lovely place to stay in Ljubljana. Ljubljana is a spotless city, fabulous, crowded and festive in December."

"The only downside for us were the very thin walls — you can hear footsteps, doors opening, keys turning, and even conversations from the neighboring rooms. On our first night, there was a group of older Italian guests who were quite loud, and we were even woken up around 5 AM. Unfortunately, sound travels very easily in the house, so everything could be heard."

"The room is in a nice location, in the center of the city. It's nice, clean, and warm. My colleague is a smoker, and it was nice that we stayed at the ground level so she could get out to smoke. Once you enter the main door, there's like a 'small square' from each room you enter, and it was nicely decorated for Christmas."
