"Nice stay, a bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Nice area calm and quiet in nature. There was good breakfast. There is free parking on site and if it is full there is grass area across the street where it is available to park aswell. Nice staff."

"Very nice rooms in a calm area, a bit outside of Portorož, close to the salines. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available from 8 to 10 and very delicious. Free parking is available."

He has a lot of local knowledge & tips & really went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful stay, including making us a traditional Slovenian dessert & sampling the local wine. "This cozy little apartment was perfect! Located on Castle Hill it is perfectly located near the river and an excellent variety of restaurants and bars. The apartment has a bed in a loft. I didn’t use it but preferred the single bed on the ground floor, as the stairs to the loft are a tad steep. It was extremely comfortable. Apartment 1, where I stayed, feels like a little cottage. There is a small covered balcony right outside your doorstep, where you can sit, listen to the wind in the trees and see the lights of Ljubljana. The kitchen is small but well appointed. My apartment had a half bathtub and shower. It is tastefully decorated, and extremely welcoming. I truly LOVED this space. Great vibe. It was like being in the country in the city."

"Comfortable, quiet, clean, equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. There are beautiful sights in the area, but Damjan gave us lots of other ideas for excursions. He was always helpful when we had questions. It was strange to see so many positive reviews about the apartment, but after experiencing it for ourselves, we can only recommend it! We would love to come back here again!"

"It's a lovely location, surrounded by the mountains and there is a river just beneath (the river sound is so comfy for deep sleep at night). Lot's of greenery, beautiful scenery and there are horses and ponies and a dog Pele! The whole place has a unique vibe, it's so peaceful. The host is lovely, willing to help with everything, very kind and generous. I had a great time and I hope to come back again!"

"The food at breakfast and dinner was the best we had on a three week vacation in Italy and Slovenia. The balcony of our room had comfortable seating and a remarkable view of the Julian Alps. The host Renatta (sp?) was exceptional in helping with questions and suggestions about the surrounding area. She was a remarkably gracious host. The room had a nifty automated metal blind, positioned outside the sliding glass door, that could be lowered and raised by a button on the wall. We could leave the door open with the blind down, but the slats opened to allow cool air to flow into the room at night. Included was an inside sheer for privacy. In the wall was a fan that pumped in outside air though a filter."
