"The hosts are young, super friendly and attentive. They welcome pets as well, we had ours with us. We were in a small apartment with a balcony with astonishing view over the village square and the mountains and the valley behind. The whole building takes you back to the past, it is renovated and rustically designed. It was clean, warm (end of December, with a little snow all around us), cosy, peaceful, quiet. We enjoyed our walks around the village, also to the nearby ski lift, Zelenci, Kranjska Gora, went cross country skiing a few times in Rateče. Oh, they have their own parkings. - We had a great time!"

"Die Vermieter Matthias und Maria sind super nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Der Garten vor dem Appartment mit Meerblick war herrlich. Wir konnten uns im Garten ungefragt und jederzeit aufhalten. Zur ebenerdigen Terrasse gehören zwei Ferienwohnungen, die ziemlich dicht ohne Abtrennung beieinander liegen. Uns hat es nicht gestört, da wir sehr kontaktfreudig sind. Die Ferienwohnung wurde zwischendurch geputzt, was ja eher unüblich ist. Das Appartment befindet sich oberhalb der Stadt Piran, so dass man auf der Straße fußläufig etwas länger unterwegs ist. Man kann auch die Abkürzung über ca. 300 Treppenstufen nehmen. Für uns war das o.k. Es gibt sehr gute Fahrradwege in die nächsten Städte. Wir wurden überall recht herzlich empfangen, ohne dass man sich bedrängt gefühlt hat und würden jederzeit wieder nach Slowenien fahren."

"We stayed in this lovely boutique hotel 1 night. It was quite charming and easy to find. The parking was awesome! The location is perfect, we walked to the grocery and to the Beer God (?). Our kind host drove us to Pavus Restaurant in Tabor Castle. We walked home 3 hours later after enjoying an amazing Tasting Menu. The walk home was easy - all downhill and only about a 15 minute walk. We also drove to the Beer Fountain in Zalec which was only about 20 minutes away. We loved everything about our stay. :)"

"Enjoyed our stay, we extended it by one night. The 3 bedroom, 4 bath (!) apartment was huge! Plenty of space for us 5 adults to spread out. Extremely clean. Towels refreshed every day. Some kitchen utensils, plates, glasses supplied. Did not cook anything during our stay - just reheat some leftovers. Very central location in old town. Everything was walkable. Could drive in the pedestrian area to the hotel by providing our license plate (canisters would drop down at entrance). Did have issues with that a couple times, so we had to contact the front desk by pushing a call button. I think it was user error because car must be perfectly centered in the sensors."
