Chez Ouly

"Ouly herself is a very pleasant person. It's always nice to meet the owner of the place whether it's a restaurant or a hotel etc. She upgraded me to a better room in another hotel she owns nearby, because a guest prolonged his stay. The internet is fine. The rooms are clean. It's in a very quiet neighborhood which seemed very secure too. And yes, I came back walking late night. The cook too; it's tasty and affordable."

"One thing only; the key system. There are 3 keys for the other place I mentioned above and 5(!!!) Keys for Chez Ouly. It gets confusing as the look like each other 🙂. One for the main gate, 2 for the apartment, one for the room and one for the toilet. Yes, the toilet was outside the room, but private. Maybe employ someone to stay there at night and minimize the amount of keys? Or write on the keys what they are for?"

"Wonderful guest house with such friendly staff! Its conveniently located, offers decent breakfast and the facilities are really great without any problems. I will be going back there again, thanks to the friendly staff, the quiet location and the fair price."

"I stayed at this place for 12 nights, and it was the best decision I made. I rate it 100/10! The accommodations were very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. No question was too much to ask. There’s a supermarket nearby and an ATM machine, which is very convenient. The location is safe for female solo travelers and easy to find. If you need assistance, just send a WhatsApp message, and they respond quickly. My room was cleaned regularly, and the bedding was changed during my stay. I enjoyed everything, especially the delicious Senegalese meals and breakfast. The receptionist, Baudo, spoke very good English, which was helpful since I don't know French. Thank you so much to everyone for making my holiday in Dakar a memorable one. I will definitely be back in the future, Insha Allah!"
