"Beautiful property, Gaudi-esque architecture. Had a restaurant that opened early and stayed open late. Staff were kind and informative (helped with info on busses to Dakar, and let us check in a bit late after our plane was delayed.)"

"Amazing location, perched high above the beach with views all the way to Dakar. We stayed in one of two rooms built into the thatched-roof turret pictured. It was lovely in January -- cool, breezy, few mosquitos. The staff is so sweet and accomodating. Food and drink is served all day and night and there are a couple of beach bars below. Kalife, in the office was especially kind and helpful. Great mix of travelers and musicians, with drums and dancing everywhere. Very special!"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and communicated clearly before my arrival via Booking and WhatsApp, which made everything feel easy and well organized. They even arranged a driver to pick me up and take me on the 30-minute drive to Sobo Bade, which I really appreciated. The hotel has a very relaxed, chill atmosphere, and the ambience at night is beautiful when all the buildings are lit up. The kitchen is excellent and serves delicious meals. Just outside the hotel, there are several small streets with handicraft stalls. The views over the ocean and beaches are stunning, and there are plenty of places to sit and relax in the garden or along the cliff edge, making it a perfect place to unwind."

"A small thing to be aware of is that the toilets are quite compact, and there is no hot water in the shower. This didn’t take away from the overall experience, but it’s useful to know in advance."
